This is me "Festus" and my new little girl friend. This was our first ride together.
I was 16 at the time we found each other through an equine web site, I was only on there a couple days before my new rider discovered me.
Because of health issues, my previous owner had the very difficult decision to rehome me, this was a sad time for me and her. I knew this was tough for her as she loved me so very much. I had many hits on the web site, I suspect it was my colorful clothing... or perhaps my extraordinary trail skills that drew people in? I remember in my ad it read "he would hook up the trailer if he could". That was true... I LOVE TO GO! I love an adventure, I go over, into, through anything...I have an opinion, a strong one! And sometimes I do know better than you, you just have to trust me... I won't let you or me get hurt !
What ever it was that brought my little rider and me together, I was lucky to land in a place that allows me to express my LOUD personality and HUGE presence, lets me be free to roam and visit my other horse friends and enjoy everyday!
I am 22 now, have lots of stories to tell about my travels, my friends, and my life.... this is just the beginning.
